I've got a Humminbird 777C2 and am happy with it. It's a color 5000 watt RMS unit, 640v x 480h resolution, has barometric pressure reading, gps ready, and a 90 degree QuadraBeam transducer. It sold for around $550 a few years back. The gps upgrade was around $100.

I had an oppourtunity to buy one of those used for 250.00 a few weeks back. Didn't have the cash at the time, dollar short or a day late story of my life. Anyways glad to know it works well for you its one I'm considering as well trying to find it on sale online.

Thanks for the quick reply!
Josh

I will also cast my vote for the 777c2(Which has been replaced by the 778). I have 2 of them. One on my dash and one on the bow.

The 778 is the sonar I'm considering getting. So, since I'm so late to the party on this thread... how about some reviews? Did you guys get them? Like them? What dont you like about them? I looked at them at cabelas the other day and really like their chart speed when compared to my old Lowrance.
