My wife and I hit berryessa at 6:00 from Capell cove. Arrived at the main body to see the fleet off of the big Island. We started around skiers and didn't mark to much and the radio chatter seem to pin point the fish around the fleet.....go figure, ha. We made our way over there made one pass and it was fish on! Fishing was not off the hook but consistent with the on again off again style of these fish. Finish with a double for the largest fish of the day at 17 3/4" and a quick release of the small one. Had my limit at about 11:30, bahama mama with a pink glow hoochie did the best with a Vance green dodger and UL mad Irishman in second. I had 3 fish when it went dead so I changed it up with two pink gulp grubs with one kernel of corn and bang! immediately got hit. I guess the fish were getting use to seeing the same ol offerings. No pic's this time as I forgot the camera.
