tired of watching bowl games so took the kombine up to the lake on 1-03.41 degrees,no wind,no clouds,no boats,no jet skis,who'd a thunkit!took about an hour to find the fish.jigged off the bottom in 82 foot of water.caught 7.lost 2.all were small,7 to 9 inches.tasted great on the bbq last night.still a great day.

Jealous to hear that you were out fishing... I live in Bend, OR and a buddy and I were thinking of camping/fishing for a few days at Wallowa. Our hope is to catch some larger kokes not necessarily record breakers but where we usually fish the kokes are 12 inches and we're lucky if they reach 15 oz. I'd love to hook up a few 2-3 lbs or even larger. With that said what time of year would you recomend?
