The lake I do most of my koke fishing on is pretty shallow, and I catch most of my fish in 20 - 32 feet of water. It's not super clear, probably a 7 on a scale of 1 - 10 with 10 being gin clear. I see a lot of fish following my ball trolls on my df at 12 - 18 feet. At that depth, the df cone is pretty small, so they are right behind and below the boat. The lake is trolling motor only so I running pretty quiet, but at least on the lake I fish, the kokes don't seem to be very spooky. Clawman, when you tie your tube flies on a stacked bead, is the big end front or back?
