Yale 2015 Picnic

At this point and late date, With so little info on attendance, I'd call it dead. The lake could be too low to launch. Also participation looks to be as low as the water level.

As far as launching at Yale Park, according to Al Thomas (outdoor writer for the Vancouver Columbian) the ramp is unuseable at 469'. I just looked and it shows the lake level at 481' this morning.

I think it would have been the best turnout yet. I fished Yale about a month ago after a quick limit on Merwin. I counted 25 rigs in the Yale Park lot. Lots of new fisherman taking advantage of the bounty that Yale offers. I don't understand why a date can't be picked 6 months in advance.

After a nice morning fishing Merwin with a buddy we went up to Yale. The ramp at Yale Park is totally usable. The lake level this morning shows 480'. The fish in Yale are 9-11.5" now.

Appears that the picnic is once again a bust. Little hope for next year unless things change. Its a family bbq for me Saturday.
